We provide a local- based advertising service designed for local businesses to find a place on the site. This is a paid service, and is located at the top of the offer browsing page for a particular school.

The goal of this service is to provide an easy, cost-effective approach to reach your target audience. Here is some information you may want to know:

The Ad:

  • A banner ad with your content, which can consist of:
    • Text (100 char limit)(optional)
    • An Image (optional)
      • With text, ~2:1 aspect ratio
      • Without text, ~3:2 aspect ratio
    • A link to your own page (optional, does not change price)
  • College Specific
    • Your ad will only be shown to your chosen school area
    • You can add additional schools at extra cost
  • Placed on every screen where users browse for offers
    • An ad is selected randomly from those associated with a school every time the offer browse page is loaded
    • A user can also browse all ads for a certain school, on the same page

We run traditional advertising by google throughout the site. This is meant to cover site expenses, as hosting costs money. We try to keep them as reasonable as possible and hope you don't find them too intrusive.

Also, please do not use ad blockers. Hosting and domains cost money, and we provide a high quality service. We understand that ads are annoying, but we have done our best to try to make our ads as unobtrusive as possible.

Oh, and to combat ad blockers, we have included a horribly obnoxious message asking you to stop. If you see it and don't use ad blockers, we apologise dearly. Actually though, we are sorry you had to see that.
